This post goes alongside a video where I unbox a leather jacket bundle purchased from Fox Vintage Wholesale.
The purpose of this post is to document the initial purchase and first impressions, rather than to predict outcomes or profitability at this stage.
The Purchase
For this batch, I bought a bundle of leather jackets intended for resale as part of my vintage clothing operation.
Leather jackets are a category with a wide range of variables — condition, style, brand, and sizing can all have a significant impact on resale performance — which makes the unboxing stage particularly important.
This was less about quantity and more about assessing quality and usability.
Unboxing & First Impressions
The video shows the unboxing in full, including:
- overall condition
- style differences
- visible wear or damage
- general consistency across the bundle
At this point, I’m focused on whether the jackets are suitable for individual listing and whether any issues stand out that could affect pricing or sell-through later on.
What I’m Watching Next
As these jackets are sorted and listed, I’ll be paying attention to:
- how condition affects pricing decisions
- which styles generate the most interest
- how long heavier items take to sell compared to lighter garments
- whether this type of bundle is worth repeating
Any meaningful updates or changes in direction will be documented in separate posts rather than added here.
Closing
This post records the starting point for this leather jacket batch.
Future updates will be published separately so the progression remains clear over time.
